Why All My Irons Are the Same Length

· My Story

People call me "The Scientist". Here's how my set of irons is built, where the name comes from, and what it all has to do with our designs.

What are one-length irons?

One length for every iron: all my irons and wedges are cut to the same length, 37.5 inches (95.3 cm).

Same lie, same bounce: they also share the same lie and bounce. The only thing that changes from club to club is the loft.

About a 7-iron: that length is close to a traditional 7-iron.

Where does "The Scientist" come from?

Physics at SMU: I majored in physics at Southern Methodist University.

The book behind it: Homer Kelley's The Golfing Machine is one of the influences on my game.

The irons themselves: a set where only the loft changes is about as measured as a golf bag gets.

How does that show up in the merch?

Clean, direct designs: bold shapes and simple lines, like the Texas outline with the skull and crossed tees cut into it.

Built to be worn: tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.

Measured fit: every product page has its own size chart. Measure a piece you already love and compare.

Which piece fits a cold morning round?

A hoodie or crewneck: easy to pull on before the first tee and take off once the sun's up.
